Hiking trail between la Cayolle and the calanque de Sormiou

The road from the parking of la Cayolle takes you to the calanque de Sormiou. It goes by the col of Sormiou (the road is very inclined on each side), and you can enjoy a large view on the calanque during the descent.

However, to go to Sormiou, I recommend you to take the path from les Baumettes, it is more pleasant.

• Distance/Duration: Sormiou 2km (1h)
  Plan the same walking duration for the way back.
• Starting point: La Cayolle
  There is a clean water fountain on the parking.
• Difficulty level: Easy hike because the path does not have any major technical difficulty, the path is quite frequented.
  The hike can be difficult because of the strong slope and the fact that there is no shade during the day.

Route from la Cayolle to Sormiou

• Take the « route du feu » from the parking of la Cayolle, then follow the brown path that starts on the left just before the restanques (rocks wall), or keep following the road to the col. After defeating the strong slope going up to Sormiou, go down to the calanque and take the small brown path cutting through the curves.
